# Remove Campaign Recipient

> Remove a recipient from a campaign without deleting the underlying assignment

# Remove Campaign Recipient

Unlink a recipient from a campaign. The underlying dataset assignment is preserved — only the campaign link is removed.

<Warning>
  Returns **409 Conflict** if the recipient has submitted values or the campaign is locked.

  UUID of the campaign-assignment to remove

## Response

Returns HTTP 204 No Content on success.

## Common Errors

### 401 Unauthorized

**Cause:** Missing or invalid API key

### 403 Forbidden

**Cause:** The authenticated user is not a member of the organization

### 409 Conflict

**Cause:** Recipient is locked or has submitted values
