# Delete Workforce Training

> Permanently delete one training record

Delete a single training record. Irreversible, and there is no endpoint that creates one back — restoring it means re-importing through the [Imports API](/api-reference/imports/overview).

Deleting a training changes the reported training hours for every period it fell in.

## Common Errors

### 401 Unauthorized

**Cause:** the key is invalid, or it does not belong to the organization in `x-organization-id` — the two are looked up as a pair. A request carrying no credentials at all answers `AUTH_REQUIRED` instead.

### 403 Forbidden

**Cause:** the key's owner is not an enabled member of the organization, or their role cannot write.

### 404 Not Found

**Cause:** no training with that id inside your perimeter. A record whose employee belongs to another organization answers 404, never 403.
