# Delete Period

> Delete a specific period from a sold product

# Delete Period

Delete a specific period from a sold product. All related data for this period (country sales, total impacts, and conversion steps) will be permanently removed.

<Warning>
  You cannot delete the **last remaining period** of a sold product. To remove the entire product, use the [Delete Sold Product](/api-reference/sold-products/delete) endpoint instead.

## Common Errors

### 401 Unauthorized

**Cause:** Missing or invalid API key

### 403 Forbidden

**Cause:** The authenticated user is not a member of the organization

### 400 Bad Request

**Cause:** Attempting to delete the last period of a product
